Green Glyphs Meets the World!

First, a big THANK YOU to each one of you. The Green Glyphs Collection was funded today by 2,310 backers!

Whether you've been here since the first Kickstarter I launched in 2013 or this is your first time joining, I appreciate you deeply. I wouldn't be able to bring these magical creations to life without you.

It makes me so excited for future endeavors and sharing them with such an uplifting community.  

So what's next?

Kickstarter takes about 2 weeks to process everyone's payments. During this time we will be setting up the Backerkit pledge manager. Backerkit is what we will use to collect your shipping info and any add-on items you may have added. Your survey will be sent via the email you used to login to Kickstarter. Important: If you logged in with an Apple ID please update your login info to an email address, we cannot send surveys to Apple IDs.

I will send out an update once surveys have been sent out as a reminder to check your email! It is extremely important to fill out your survey, this is where we collect your address so we know where to ship to. Without that, well, we can't do much with your pledge.

In the meantime, I am going to start getting everything ready to head into production ASAP so we can keep our schedule!

The Final 48 Hours!

We're in the final 48 hours of the campaign! I'm so happy with all of the cool things that have evolved over this month, and so grateful to all of you. You helped make this project into something greater than I expected.

In case you missed it - we've unlocked several stretch goals that are included for free with all Box Sets! 

The box set now includes the following stretch goals: Free Rune Dice, a Free Screenprint of the Oracle card "Enoki", the Set the Stage card holder, 9 extra rune cards and a pendulum!

What happens next?

Once the project closes on Wednesday, pledges will be locked and cards will start being charged. Kickstarter takes a few weeks to process payments. During this time we will be setting up the pledge manager with Backerkit. We use Backerkit for fulfillment. In mid-November you will get an email from Backerkit asking for your shipping info. You must fill this out or we cannot ship your items to you when the time comes! This is also where you will be able to add on any other items you may have been on the fence about. If you're having issues adding items to your pledge (it seems to be an issue for early bird backers) then you can add them in Backerkit. 

I'll be sending out an update once the Backerkit emails have been sent out so you can be on the look out. 

Please note: if you used your Apple ID to create your kickstarter account you will need to update it to an email address. We are unable to send shipping surveys to Apple IDs. 

Below you'll find the schedule for production and shipping. Keep in mind this is a rough estimate and bumps in the road are bound to happen. I'll try my best to keep you updated as we progress!

Pendulums!!

I have a little surprise for our last week of the campaign... We've kind of been hovering around $400k for a few days but I REALLY wanted us to get to this pendulum. I was initially planning it for a later stretch goal but I'm deciding to include it now in hopes of a final little boost!

So without further ado, I am thrilled to introduce...

The pendulum will be made out of the same bronze metal as the dice and will measure about 20mm wide by 50mm tall. (.75" x 2") and will have some sort of a chain attached to the top of the pendulum. There are still some factors to figure out so some of this will change and is TBD.

Each side of the pendulum will be embossed with four glyphs from the four decks. The four sides of the pendulum represent Luck, Challenge, Inner Guidance, and Community. The Glyphs will add a 2nd layer to readings done with the pendulum. For example, if the pendulum is guiding you towards "maybe" with the "community" side of the pendulum swinging towards "maybe" then the answer may be possible with help from your community and others. 

The big news is that the pendulum will now be included in all Box Sets for free!!! 

With all the included freebies, Box Sets are now about a $212 value for only $165. These prices will go up once the collection is in our shop next year so if you are hesitating act now, you won't get a deal like this again! 

Since so much is up in the air about the final pendulum design I am not making it available as an add-on item quite yet. A lot of the specifics should be ironed out in the next few weeks and we will be able to include it as an add-on item in Backerkit when you are filling out your shipping information in mid/late November. But as it stands the pendulum is very much in the prototype phase so a lot can change and I don't feel comfortable charging for it yet. 

Since we're now adding the pendulum to the project...

I am also going to upgrade the altar cloth to be double-sided for use with the pendulum!

You'll be able to use the Casting Cloth to determine Yes, No, Maybe and Unknown answers from your pendulum.  Altar cloths can be added to pledges for $15. If you already have an altar cloth it will automatically be updated!

Lastly a few updates about the Carrying Case. I found a way to include dividers! Carrying cases will now have 3 removable dividers included in the box so that you can separate your 4 decks when traveling . 

Also, here's a mock-up of what is likely going to be embossed on the case, the Key from Green Glyphs Lenormand (matches the satchels) 

I'm not sure what the next few days will hold, but who knows maybe we will even reach another stretch goal at the last minute??

Stretch Goal Reached: 9 More Rune Cards!

We just hit one of our big stretch goals! Now all rune decks are forever upgraded to 33 cards. Rune decks will include the original 24 cards from the Elder Futhark plus the 9 extra Anglo-Saxon Runes. 

Here's a peek at 6 of the cards. I think the rest I'm going to leave as a surprise until you get your packages ;) 

The card meanings for these 9 runes will also be added to the guidebook and glossary!

This now brings into the debated question of including these runes on the dice. I've decided the best move here is to include a 4th d10 die, so the rune dice will now be 3 d8 dice + a d10 die. The nine Anglo-Saxon runes will fill 9 of the 10 sides on the die with the 10th side being either blank or designed with a Green Glyphs symbol. 

Secret Stretch Goal: Set the Stage Card Holder

It's time for a secret stretch goal! 

It's been over a week since our last stretch goal and there are too many good ideas floating around to let them go by before the campaign ends. While we're not quite at our 400,000 stretch goal for the extra 9 rune cards, I wanted to introduce this new item I have been working on....

(This is a very very rough prototype! )

The "Set The Stage" cardholder is a 4" x 7.5 card holder designed to slide into the bottom of the diorama box. It will have cut slots to display up to 4 cards at once. This will now come free with all box sets! (I'm calling this our $375,000 stretch goal) If you order 2 box sets you'll get 2 card holders.

If you want extra card holders (or you aren't getting a box set), you will now find the "Set The Stage" card holder available as an add-on item for $7. 

 So now all box sets now come with: the rune dice, the enoki screenprint, and the cardholder! 

We're getting super super close to the 400k stretch goal for the 9 extra rune cards! I'll be sharing more of the art from those cards in our next update.
